The story
Two short rails, one long cut
Most fitters carry two shorter rails rather than one very long one. The FSV/2 joins them for rip cuts on full sheets and long boards. Because the connectors align the rails as they are tightened, the joint stays straight and the saw passes over it without a step.
Simple to fit
Two connectors go into the rail grooves and are tightened with the supplied combination hex key; the laser engraving shows which goes where. They fit all Festool FS/2 guide rails, including the FS 800/2, FS 1400/2, FS 1900/2 and FS 3000/2.
