The story
For heavy routing
The OF 2200 is for kitchen fitters and joiners who cut worktop joints with templates, rout deep housings or run large profile and panel-raising bits in hardwood and solid surface. The 2,200 W motor with variable speed from 10,000 to 22,000 rpm keeps the cutter at speed in thick and hard material.
Control and accuracy
Guide rods set at 30 degrees put the handles where force transfers efficiently, and the guide columns clamp twice for rigidity. Depth sets to a tenth of a millimetre over a 20 mm fine range. The base plate detaches to set profile cutters, copying rings and bases change without tools, and a safety brake stops the bit.
Dust and system
An adjustable extraction ring and chip catcher capture up to 99 percent of chips in edge routing, through 27 or 36 mm CLEANTEC hoses. It runs on FS rails and worktop templates. The Plus version comes in a Systainer³ SYS3 M 337; the Set adds an accessory kit. Also offered for hire.
