The story
Who it's for
Electricians, plumbers, core drillers and structural installers who must know what is inside a wall or slab before they drill or cut. It identifies live cables, magnetic and non-magnetic metals, water-filled and empty plastic pipes, and timber substructure. Checking first helps avoid costly strikes on cables and pipes.
What sets it apart
Bosch radar with AI-based evaluation reaches 200 mm in dry concrete, 80 mm in other wall types and 60 mm in young concrete. Several views, including a 3D image of the wall area, show object positions with ±5 mm accuracy. Leak detection and distance measurement are built in.
System and kit
It runs on a Bosch 18V battery, so no special pack is needed. Data exports via USB-C or micro-SD, and the firmware can be updated. The European kit includes a GBA 18V 2.0 Ah pack, GAL 18V-20 charger and L-BOXX 136.
