The story
The first grit
P80 does the heavy lifting: flattening glued joints and planer marks on timber, taking back old varnish and paint, and levelling filler. Granat is Festool's universal abrasive with an anti-clog coating, so it keeps cutting on hard and resinous surfaces instead of loading up, which means fewer disc changes per room or door.
Dust goes where it should
The 48-hole MULTI-JETSTREAM 2 pattern lines up with current Festool pads and draws dust through the whole disc into the extractor. It fits every Festool 150 mm sander with a StickFix pad, including the ETS 150/3, ETSC 2 150, ETS EC 150 and ROTEX RO 150. A box of 50 keeps a crew supplied for a typical renovation job.
