The story
Tool-free on the ROTEX
The RO 150 uses FastFix, so pads change in seconds between hard for flat stock removal, soft for universal work and super-soft for contours. This soft pad is the one most users keep fitted, for sanding furniture, doors and paintwork. The heat-resistant hook-and-loop holds discs firmly under the ROTEX's rotary drive.
Full extraction
The MULTI-JETSTREAM 2 hole pattern matches current Festool D150 discs, so dust goes into the extractor rather than under the disc. Festool advises checking the foam for ageing before use. Hard and super-soft FastFix pads are also available for flat stock removal and for contoured work.
