The story
Extraction at the tool
Carpenters, fitters and electricians connect an extractor to saws, sanders and hammers to control dust in homes and offices. The DVC157L is designed for this, with 2.4 m³/min airflow, L-class approval and a hose that connects directly to the tool.
Automatic start
AWS is built in, so the extractor switches on and off with any AWS-equipped Makita tool without a cable. Suction power is adjustable by dial, and noise is 70 dB(A) or below. The brushless motor and XPT sealing suit dusty site conditions.
System
It runs on two LXT batteries, giving 40 to 100 minutes on 6.0 Ah packs, so the same packs used in saws and sanders power the vacuum. A tool box sits on top, and pipes, nozzles and adapters for tool connection are included.
