The story
Demolition and strip-out
Demolition crews, plumbers and renovators use it to cut through studs with nails, cast-iron and steel pipe, and window frames. It cuts timber up to 300 mm and metal pipe up to 150 mm, and the orbital action clears chips from deep cuts in wood so the blade keeps its pace.
Control for each material
Five speed settings between 1,500 and 3,000 spm let you slow down for sheet metal and stainless, then run flat out in timber. The adjustable shoe spreads wear along the blade, the FIXTEC clamp changes blades without a key, and a metal rafter hook keeps the saw off the floor between cuts.
Built for big packs
It is designed around HIGH OUTPUT and FORGE batteries; the kit comes with an 8.0 Ah FORGE pack. Keep AX blades for nail-embedded timber and TORCH or WRECKER blades for metal and mixed material in a PACKOUT crate next to it.
