The story
For trim, stairs and fit-out
The KAPEX is for finish carpenters, stair builders and joiners cutting skirting, architraves, crown mouldings, handrails and door linings where joints must close tight. It crosscuts 305 × 88 mm, stands tall mouldings up to 120 mm against the fence, and mitres 50° left and 60° right with bevels to 47° both ways.
Precision features
A twin-column guide on two bearings keeps the blade running true. The dual-line laser marks the kerf from either side of the blade, and the bevel angle has fine adjustment at the front. The SM-KS bevel copies wall angles to the saw. MMC electronics set speed for the material, and a safety brake stops the blade.
Portable workshop saw
The rails sit above the head, so the saw works close to a wall and carries easily. The FastFix spindle lock speeds blade changes, and a CLEANTEC extractor captures dust from the 27/36 mm port. Sets add an underframe, MFT table or multi-function stop. Also offered for hire.
