The story
Measuring and estimating
Fitters, estimators, painters and electricians measure rooms to price jobs and order materials. The LD080PI measures from 0.05 m up to 80 m with ±1.5 mm accuracy, and calculates wall and ceiling areas, total wall length for skirting and room volumes.
Practical features
The tilt sensor enables indirect height measurement using Pythagoras functions and shows angles to ±0.2°. Twenty readings are kept in memory for checking later. IP54 protects it from dust and splashing on site, and it comes with batteries and a belt holster.
