The story
Layout from the model
Layout engineers and MEP contractors transfer hundreds of points from drawings to the slab: anchors, sleeves, hangers and wall lines. The PLT 400-4 reads CAD and BIM data directly, so one person can find and mark each point without tape measures or a second crew member.
Accuracy and automation
Angle accuracy is 4 arc seconds and distance accuracy ±2 mm + 2 ppm across a working range up to 200 m. A zoom camera with automatic target search keeps it locked onto the prism, and self-calibration and diagnostics give confidence before each shift. The housing is IP55.
How we offer it
It runs about six hours on its B 22/4.0 battery. The kit adds a charger and two batteries. Given the price and training involved, it is available on quote or for hire. It is aimed at layout teams on large commercial and MEP projects.
