The story
For tree and site work
Arborists, landscapers and builders use a 35 cm saw for limbing, felling small trees and cutting timber on site. The UC011G reaches 25.5 m/s chain speed, which Makita compares to a 42 cc petrol saw, with no fuel mixing or pull start.
Practical design
A large oil filler with a view window makes bar oil easy to check, and automatic chain lubrication is adjustable. Captive nuts stay on the cover during chain changes. A main power switch with auto power-off saves the battery and prevents unintended starts.
System
XPT sealing and an IPX4 rating protect it in wet weather. It runs on all XGT batteries, shared with the hedge trimmer, blower and other 40Vmax tools, so garden crews and builders can use one battery type. Supplied with a chain cover, oil vessel set and combination spanner.
