The story
For regular screwing
Hilti positions the SID 4-22 as the more economical alternative to the SID 6-22 for trades who do not set hundreds of screws a day: carpenters fixing studs and battens, electricians mounting boxes and brackets, and fitters assembling cabinets and frames.
Compact and durable
At 134 mm long it reaches between studs and inside cabinets where longer drivers will not go. It delivers 186 Nm at up to 3000 rpm and 4400 impacts per minute, with four LEDs around the chuck for glare-free light. Sealed electronics, reworked gearing and motor cooling are aimed at durability.
In the range
It takes 1/4 inch hex bits in a click-in chuck and runs on any Nuron 22V battery. A smaller B 22-55 pack keeps the weight down for overhead work. Crews who drive screws all day are better served by the more powerful SID 6-22. The SID 4-22 is sold bare, boxed or in a case.
