The story
Screw after screw, all day
Framers, deck builders and installers drive hundreds of screws a shift, and the DCF887 is built for that rhythm. The brushless motor delivers 205 Nm and up to 3,800 impacts per minute, enough for long structural screws and coach bolts, in a body that weighs only 0.9 kg without the battery.
Three modes for the job
A selector gives three speed and torque settings, including a gentle Precision Drive mode that helps avoid snapping small screws or chewing up soft materials. The drop-in 1/4 inch hex holder takes bits one-handed, and a ring of three LEDs around the nose lights the screw head without shadows.
Part of the 18V XR system
The two 5.0 Ah XR packs in this kit fit every DeWalt 18V XR tool, and the multi-voltage charger also takes FLEXVOLT batteries. The TSTAK-compatible kit box clips onto the rest of the storage range, so the driver travels with its drill and saw.
