Tri-LED lighting
Three LEDs light the fixing point without shadows.
The story
Light driver for installers
Electricians, plumbers and fitters driving screws into studs, ceiling rails and cabinet carcasses rarely need an 18V driver. The M12 FID2 gives 170 Nm at 127 mm long, so it fits into tight spaces and keeps arm fatigue down during long days on ladders.
Modes and lighting
Four DRIVE CONTROL settings cover three speed and torque levels plus a self-tapping mode that slows the tool as the screw breaks through thin steel, reducing stripped heads. Tri-LEDs around the hex chuck light the fixing point without casting a shadow from the chuck.
M12 platform
It runs on all M12 packs. The bare version suits users who already own batteries, while kits come with two 2.0 Ah or 6.0 Ah packs, a C12 C charger and an HD Box. It pairs with the M12 FPD2 percussion drill as a compact two-tool set.
