The story
Light and compact
Electricians, kitchen fitters and home users often need a drill for small screws and pilot holes in tight spaces. The HP333D is 193 mm long and 1.1 kg with a 2.0 Ah battery, so it is easy to use overhead and inside cabinets.
Features
It has a brushed motor with all-metal gears, a 10 mm keyless chuck, two speeds up to 1,700 rpm and a hammer mode for 8 mm plug holes. An LED light, electric brake and rubberised grip are standard, and battery protection prevents deep discharge.
Kits
It runs on 12Vmax CXT slide batteries, the same packs used by Makita CXT lasers, drivers and lights, which are separate from LXT. UK kits HP333DWAE and HP333DWAX1 include two BL1021B 2.0 Ah batteries, a DC10WD charger and a plastic case, making them a complete starter set.
