The story
Large-disc work
Builders, landscapers and fabricators use a 9" grinder for cutting paving, blocks, kerbs and heavy steel sections. The GA038G cuts 73 mm deep at 6,600 rpm and is designed for continuous heavy use in industrial and site work, where a cordless 230 mm grinder removes the need for a generator or long leads.
Safety and durability
AFT stops the motor if the disc jams, which matters with a large disc and high torque. A dead-man paddle switch without lock-on, soft start, anti-restart and an electric brake add to operator safety. XPT sealing protects it from dust and water on outdoor jobs.
Dust control and system
With a cutting guard and extractor, AWS starts the vacuum automatically, which helps with silica dust control on masonry cutting. The UK GA038GZ07 includes the WUT01 adapter, a 230 mm wheel guard and an anti-vibration side handle. Runs on all XGT batteries.
