The story
Chasing without a cable
Electricians and plumbers cut chases in brick, block and concrete for cable, conduit and pipe. The DCG200 does it on battery: two 125 mm diamond blades cut both sides of the chase at once, with widths from 8 to 35 mm set by spacers and a depth of up to 32 mm. The core is then removed with the supplied chisel.
Safer and cleaner
An electronic clutch reduces kickback if the blades jam, and the electronic brake stops them quickly on release. Depth is set without tools and has a park position. Chasing makes a lot of fine dust, so the tool connects to an extractor, and Wireless Tool Control starts a paired DeWalt extractor such as the DCV586M automatically.
Kit ready for work
This kit includes two 6.0 Ah FLEXVOLT batteries, a charger, two premium diamond blades, spacers, chisel and hex key in a deep TSTAK box. The batteries also run DeWalt's FLEXVOLT hammers, grinders and saws, and a bare version is available for crews that already own packs.
