The story
When the blade has to survive
Dismantling window and door frames, cutting through old studwork with hidden screws, or trimming timber embedded in mortar destroys ordinary bi-metal blades. Carbide teeth resist heat and wear in abrasive and mixed materials, and the reinforced, cross-set teeth cut fast. The progressive pitch suits different material thicknesses.
Universal shank
The 150 mm blade (115 mm cutting length) fits all S-shank reciprocating saws, including the RSC 18 and ERSC 18. Festool also makes it in 230 and 305 mm lengths for thicker walls and beams, so a crew can keep all three in the saw's Systainer insert.
