The story
Professional leaf clearance
Grounds maintenance crews, councils and landscapers clear leaves from parks, car parks and paths for hours at a time. The UB002C delivers blowing force in the class of a 50 cc petrol backpack blower, without fumes, noise restrictions or refuelling.
Comfort and control
The grip adjusts forward, back, left and right to suit the operator, which matters on a machine worn for hours. Constant-speed control holds output under load, and variable speed allows lower power near people or gravel. XPT sealing and IPX4 protection allow work in wet weather.
Power source
The blower connects by cable to the PDC1200 portable power pack, which gives 78 minutes at low output or 45 minutes at high. It is not an LXT or XGT tool, although the power pack itself uses Makita cells. UK kits (UB002CX3) include the PDC1200. A common seasonal hire item.
