The story
The small cutter in the bag
Plumbers, electricians and fitters use it to trim threaded rod, cut out tiles for pipes and sockets, shorten screws and cut openings in plasterboard or fibre cement. At 1.1 kg and 226 mm long it goes where a 125 mm grinder is too big or too risky.
Three discs, one tool
It comes with a diamond tile blade, a carbide abrasive blade and a metal cut-off wheel, so steel, stainless, non-ferrous metals, tile and board are covered from the box. The rotation direction can be reversed to steer sparks and dust away, and the quick-release dust shoe sets depth.
Refills and kits
Replacement 76 mm metal cutting discs come in packs of five. The top kit has a 6.0 Ah and a 2.0 Ah battery with a charger in an HD Box; a bare tool is available for M12 users. Discs are 76 mm with a 10 mm bore.
