The story
Who it's for
Electricians checking connections and panels, heating and plumbing engineers tracing pipes and radiators, and renovation specialists assessing mould risk and thermal bridges. The 50:1 optics measure small spots from a safe distance. It measures from 0.1 to 5 m away.
What it does
Five modes cover surface temperature, contact temperature through a K-type probe, dew point, thermal bridges and a user mode. An ambient sensor reads room temperature and relative humidity, and each measurement can be saved with a photo from the built-in camera.
Power and data
It runs on a Bosch 12V battery or on AA cells via the supplied adapter. Readings go to the Bosch ThermalOn app over Bluetooth or to a PC via micro-USB. It is not intended for medical use. Up to 200 images are stored internally.
