The story
Big discs, no cable
Steel erectors, groundworkers and plumbers who cut large pipe, kerbs and steel sections usually need a mains 230 mm grinder. This one runs on one M18 battery and cuts 65 mm deep, so it goes where there is no power or where a generator is a hassle.
Safety systems
A non-locking paddle switch stops the grinder when you let go, the brake slows the disc quickly, and anti-kickback cuts power if the disc snags. Line lock-out prevents a restart after a battery change. The keyless guard and anti-vibration side handle make the tool easier to set up and hold.
Pack choice matters
It is built for HIGH OUTPUT and FORGE batteries; the kit comes with a 12.0 Ah FORGE pack. FIXTEC changes discs without a key. Use 230 mm metal cutting discs for steel and a HUDD diamond blade for concrete and paving.
