## The story

### The joinery shop standard

The DWS780 has been a fixture in joinery shops and on shopfitting jobs for years. It crosscuts 303 mm wide at 110 mm deep, has 170 mm vertical capacity against the fence for tall skirting, and bevels 49° both ways, which covers almost any trim, frame or architrave profile without flipping the workpiece.

### Accuracy you can repeat

A machined base and a stainless steel mitre detent plate with ten common stops make settings easy to return to. The XPS LED projects the blade's shadow onto the workpiece, so the cut line is exact without calibrating a laser. Variable speed from 1,900 to 3,800 rpm helps with plastics and aluminium profiles.

### Mains saw for the workshop and site

The 230 V -QS version is the Nordic and European model. It comes with a 60-tooth blade, dust bag, clamp and wrench, and the dust port takes an extractor hose for cleaner indoor cutting. For cable-free sites, the FLEXVOLT DCS781 offers similar capacity.
