## Summary

The newest version of Festool's mid-size router: 1,010 W, 6 and 8 mm collets, 55 mm plunge and depth set to 1/10 mm. A rechargeable LED in the base lights the cut, and extraction is built into the router table.

## Why this one

- **55 mm plunge**: Depth adjustable to 1/10 mm.
- **LED in the base**: Rechargeable light module for a clear view of the cut.
- **Rigid guide**: Columns on both sides keep the table square.
- **Rail and LR 32**: Runs on FS rails and the LR 32 hole-row system.

## The story

### The joiner's everyday router

Cabinet makers and fitters use the OF 1010 R for rounding, chamfering, rebating and profiling edges, recessing fittings and hinges, cutting grooves for back panels, and drilling rows of 32 mm system holes with the LR 32 system. It is compact and light enough for one-handed control on narrow edges, and the router table is guided by columns on both sides so it does not rack.

### See what you are cutting

A rechargeable LED in the base and an open view of the cutter make it easy to follow a line. The parallel side fence clamps centrally and has a fine adjuster, and the depth is set to a tenth of a millimetre. Chip extraction goes through the table to D 27 or D 36 hoses. MMC electronics, a quick-acting brake and restart protection are standard. Supplied with side fence, light module and 8 mm collet in a Systainer³ SYS3 M 237.
