## The story

### Floor to ceiling in seconds

Electricians, sprinkler fitters and ceiling installers constantly transfer points from floor to ceiling for fixings, downlights and hangers. The DCE825 projects up and down plumb spots plus level and square spots, together with a cross line, so points and lines can be marked from one setup.

### Fine control

A fine-adjustment knob rotates the beams precisely onto a reference mark, which saves nudging the whole unit. The green diode is easy to see indoors, with 30 m working range and 50 m with a detector in pulse mode. Accuracy is ±3 mm at 10 m, and the pendulum locks for transport.

### Runs on 12V or 18V

The multi-voltage battery holder takes both 12V and 18V XR packs, so it can share batteries with nearly any DeWalt cordless tool. The housing is IP54 rated. The bare unit comes with a TSTAK-compatible case, laser target and wall mounting bracket.
