## The story

### Big SDS-plus holes without a cable

Concrete contractors and M&E installers drilling through-holes and large anchors often reach for a corded 4 kg hammer. The DCH417 brings that class of performance to FLEXVOLT: 4.5 J per blow and a range up to 32 mm in concrete, so bigger anchors and service penetrations can be drilled where no mains supply is available.

### Protection built in

Vibration control keeps the drilling value at 6.3 m/s², and the anti-rotation system cuts power if the bit binds in rebar. Rotation-stop turns it into a light chipping hammer. The quick-change system swaps the SDS-plus holder for a 13 mm keyless chuck, so the same tool drills timber and steel as well.

### Clean drilling with the extractor

Wireless Tool Control pairs the hammer with a DeWalt extractor such as the DCV586M, which starts and stops with the trigger. This kit includes SDS-plus drills, flat wood bits, HSS drills and chisels, all packed in a deep TSTAK box with the two 9.0 Ah FLEXVOLT packs and charger.
