## The story

### The all-round M12 pack

Electricians and installers running M12 drivers, lasers, cutters and lights use the 4.0 Ah pack as their standard battery: enough runtime for a morning of fixing without making the tool top-heavy. It fits every M12 tool. It weighs 0.4 kg.

### Protected cells

REDLINK electronics prevent overload damage, individual cell monitoring balances the cells, and a welded frame with shock-absorbing separators protects them in a fall. Milwaukee states it works down to −20 °C without losing runtime or battery life, which matters on unheated sites in winter.

### Charging

It takes 52 minutes on the M12-18 FC and 80 minutes on the C12 C or M12 C4. Two packs and a charger are also sold together as the M12 NRG-402 set, which is the cheapest way to turn a bare M12 tool into a kit.
