## The story

### For the heavy tools

Heavy-duty Nuron tools draw a lot of power: jackhammers, cut-off saws, SDS-max hammers and core drills. The B 22-290 gives them the longest run time on the platform, meaning fewer battery changes during a cut or a breaking session. It is the pack Hilti points to for its cut-off saws and jackhammer.

### Built for it

A built-in health tester, sealed electronics, dampers and a reinforced housing protect the cells from site conditions. Like all Nuron packs, it records usage data that syncs via the charger to the Hilti cloud. That lets fleet managers see which packs are ageing and plan replacements.

### Fit

It fits every Nuron tool, but at 1.81 kg it is best kept for heavy equipment. The DD 150-U-22 kit includes two of them, and Hilti recommends it for the TE 60-22. For drills and small hammers, the lighter B 22-110 is the better choice.
