### The all-rounder pack

The BP 18 Li 5.0 HP-ASI suits users who run saws, planers and percussion drills as well as lighter tools. Its high-current cells deliver more power under load than a standard 5.0 Ah pack, which Festool quotes as up to 50 percent with the latest saws and the HLC 82 planer, and they tolerate heavy draw for a long service life.

### Faster back to work

AIRSTREAM channels let the SCA 16 charger cool the cells while charging, so the pack is full again in about 24 minutes on that charger. An LED gauge shows charge, and the soft-touch frame protects the tool when set down. Bluetooth starts a paired extractor and shows charge, temperature and cycles in the Festool app.
