### The workhorse size

Eight by forty millimetres suits the board a cabinet shop cuts every day: carcass joints, face frames, shelves and mitred panels. Buying 780 in one box keeps the price per joint down and means the DOMINO never waits for tenons. The size is printed on every tenon, so mixed stock is easy to sort.

### Why DOMINO holds

Each DOMINO has the cross-section of three round dowels of the same diameter, so joints are stiffer and cannot rotate from the first tenon. Guide ribs centre it in the mortise, and glue pockets and grooves spread the glue evenly while letting the excess escape. The 8 × 40 mm size fits the DF 500, DFC 500 and the DOMINO XL DF 700.
