## The story

### For load-bearing joints

Table aprons, bed rails, chair frames and interior doors carry loads that small tenons cannot. The 10 × 50 mm DOMINO is the largest size the DF 500 can cut, and it suits thicker solid timber. It is also a common size on the DF 700 for lighter work. Printed sizes and a trade box of 510 make it easy to keep stock in the workshop.

### Why DOMINO holds

Each DOMINO has the cross-section of three round dowels of the same diameter, so joints are stiffer and cannot rotate from the first tenon. Guide ribs centre it in the mortise, and glue pockets and grooves spread the glue evenly while letting the excess escape. The 10 × 50 mm size fits the DF 500, DFC 500 and DF 700.
